GaN Magnetic field sensors have been shown to out-space Si Magnetometers with higher precision and temperature operation, however, they still require CMOS precision amplification to be integrated into future microsystems. Miniaturized magnetic field sensing is beneficial in several applications including navigation of implantable chips, nanosatellites, and power and motor monitoring systems for cleaner energy production.
