MSc thesis project proposal

Electronic Sweat Analysis System

Analyzing sweat seems a promising non-invasive technique to monitor health and diseases. This may sound that a chemical sensor is needed. However, as electronics are getting more powerful, it is obvious to rely on electronics to do the analysis (voltammetry or amperometry). This is system is aimed primarily to analyze the ionic content in sweat, such as Sodium, Ammonium, Potassium and Chloride. Other constituents could be analyzed as well. The aim is to make a miniaturized, portable system that can be used by athletes.
