[2022] A Low-Power Sub-GHz WiFi Receiver
Realization of IoT requires to efficiently exchange data between different devices and machines with sufficient covering range. Wireless sensor networks provide interconnection between different sensor nodes in a particular area. Current wireless standards, IEEE 802.11, are operating at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands limiting the covering range. Moreover, energy constraints of wireless sensor networks did not consider in previous wireless standards. On the other hand, IEEE 802.11 ah standard is using sub-1GHz frequency bands increasing coverage range and reducing power consumption. In this project, we aim to design a reconfigurable ZIF/LIF receiver for IEEE 802.11ah.
