MSc T.V. Kusur
Electronic Instrumentation (EI), Department of Microelectronics Themes: CMOS Image Sensors
Biography
Tejus Kusur was born in Vijayapura, India, in 2000. He obtained his B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Robotics and Automation from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, in 2022. He then earned his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microelectronics, from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2024. During his master’s studies, he designed and simulated infrared-capable microstructured CMOS image sensors for his thesis research.
From 2024 to 2025, he worked as a post-master researcher at the Electronic Instrumentation Laboratory (EI Lab), TU Delft, in collaboration with a leading European camera and lens manufacturer. His work focused on developing advanced algorithms for noise offset reduction in commercial cameras. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. within the EI Lab, where his research focuses on the development of CMOS-compatible readout integrated circuits using low-temperature fabrication processes for integration with novel material detectors.
Tejus is an avid photographer with an interest in both technical and creative aspects of imaging. He also enjoys travelling and cycling, exploring the Netherlands to capture new places on his camera.
